The Hacienda was founded in 1582 and has undergone remodeling throughout the 18th to the 20th centuries. There are official records from the historical archive of the Queretaro State that the construction was a gift from Hernán Cortés to La Malinche, his concubine, who would soon marry the Spanish captain Juan Jaramillo.
Alonso Pérez Bocanegra was another important owner who is credited for using the San Juan del Rio river as an energy source for the operation of a mill.
In 1645, Juan Frias Valenzuela, ordered the construction of the beautiful chapel and the Hacienda is considered as a land of work and livestock.
Now a days, we receive tourist from all parts of the world, it has become a beautiful hotel with 5 stars accommodations, huge green areas, spectacular construction, spa, gym, and Temazcal ritual service.
My cousin Roberto Lara and a server, Camilo Romero, your hosts, grew between the un-sleepy city and the tranquility but adventurous feeling of the ranch with all type of wildlife, cattle, sheep, fighting bulls and of course our beloved horses.

We have developed a prevention, hygiene and disinfection program called ‘TRAVEL with confidence’, We implement the most effective sanitary measures to offer memorable experiences in a safe environment, from the arrival of our guests, clients and collaborators, contemplating public areas, elevators and rooms following the recommendations of organizations official bodies such as the Government of Mexico, the Secretary of Health, the Center for the Control and Disease Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), among others.
Safety and hygiene for your rest. To give you greater security and confidence we made a collaboration with 3M Commercial Division of Cleaning and Disinfection Products and the use of disinfection, bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal products registered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was determined.
The program, Travel with Confidence, includes all areas of the hotel and operating procedures from your arrival to your departure and return to the airport.

CLEANING AND DESINFECTION OF ROOMS
Our maids carry out the normal cleaning process specified in our protocols.
We will apply 3M products on all hard surfaces such as doorknobs, walls, windows, table tops, surface of toilets, bathrooms, killing 99.9% of fungi, bacteria and viruses.
To achieve better coverage In the disinfection process, we will spray another 3M specialty product onto soft surfaces such as fabrics, curtains and furniture to inactivate any pathogens or microorganisms.
